The 4XEM IP Network Cameras and Video Servers that feature MJPEG as the video compression method are designed for the 4-Channel IPNV4 Remote Monitoring software. This is primarily due to bandwidth limitations. The MJPEG video compression method requires a higher amount of network bandwidth when compared with cameras and video servers that use MPEG4 as the video compression method. The 4XEM cameras and video servers featuring MJEPG video compression will work with the 16-Channel IPNV16 Remote Monitoring software but you may encounter limitations as to features that are provided by this software. Also, with additional cameras and video servers that are added you may see a dramatic decrease in the frame rate. We strictly recommend using cameras and video servers using MJPEG video compression with the IPNV4 software only.
