How do I restore my IP Network Camera to its default settings?

To restore to your camera to its factory default settings, login to the camera with the root username and click on the Configuration tab. Click on the option on the left called “Factory Default.” Once confirming to change to your factory default settings the camera will reboot and will be set to its factory settings. From here you will need to run the IP Installer to reconfigure your camera.

If you are unable to connect to your camera you will manually have to reset your camera to its default settings. To do this, get a paperclip and insert it into the pin sized hole on the back of your camera and hold for 20 seconds. After the initial 20 seconds, remove the power, while still holding the paperclip in the back of the camera. After 10 seconds, plug the power back into the camera and wait for another 30 seconds. After the 30 seconds remove the paperclip and your camera will reset to its factory settings. From here you will need to run the IP Installer to reconfigure your camera.
