The IPNV16 software will sometimes not show up in the Add/Remove Programs listing. This makes it difficult to remove or update the IPNV16 software.
We have released a tool called the Installation Recovery Tool. This tool can be downloaded here, http://www.4xem.com/downloads/utilities/InstallRecover.zip.
Please use the following steps to reinstall the IPNV16 software:
- Ensure the IPNV16 software is not running
- Ensure that Monitor_NB.exe, Playback_NB.exe and Launcher_NB.exe processes are not running under Windows Task Manager
- Install the InstallRecoveryNB.exe program
- Delete the IPNV16 folder (C:\Program Files\Smart VS-IP Surveillance System)
- Re-install the IPNV16 Remote Monitoring Software
