Note: Pan/Tilt/Zoom and audio functionality have been disabled in this demo. |
You may need to lower some of the security settings
associated with Internet Explorer. Here is a list of steps that you
will need to do to be able to properly view the camera:
1)
Browse to the camera's homepage.
2) At the top of the web
browser please click on Tools and then proceed to click on Internet
Options.
3) Click on the Security tab.
4) Ensure
that Internet is the selected Web content zone.
5) Click
on the Custom Level button.
6) Ensure that the following
are set to either Enable or Prompt:

| Run ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins | Prompt or Enable |
7) Click on Ok and then select Local Intranet. Click on
the Custom Level button.
8) Ensure that the following are
set to either Enable or Prompt:

| Run ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins | Prompt or Enable |
9) Click on Ok and then click on Ok again. Now refresh
the camera's homepage by either pressing the F5 key on your keyboard
or by clicking on the Refresh button found within your web browser.
10) You should now be prompted to download an Unassigned/Unregistered
ActiveX Control Plug-in. Please proceed to install this. If you are
running Windows XP Service Pack 2 then you may see a message display
under the address bar. Please click on this message to proceed in
installing the ActiveX Control Plug-in.
11) You should now be able to view the video produced by the
camera.
