IPNV16 Remote Monitoring Software Cycle Recording Settings

Click on the Configuration Icon found at the top left side of the IPNV16 Remote Monitoring Software. Now click on the Global Settings option. You will now be presented with a settings page that is similar to the one in the diagram.

Record Disk Space Usage Settings

Here you can set a specific amount of space on your hard drive that will not be used for recordings. The example above is as follows:

Total Space: 76308 MB total hard drive space (~76.3 GB)
Free Space: 65340 MB total free space on the hard drive (~65.3 GB)
Reserved Space: 51540 MB total space reserved for non-recorded data (~51.5 GB)

In the example above 51.5 GB of data will be reserved for non-recorded data. That means that 13.8 GB will be available for recorded data. Once this space is completely filled then the recordings will stop. However, if you check the Cycle Recording check box then once the 13.8 GB of space has been filled the software will begin to overwrite the data starting with the first video data that was recorded. The amount of space reserved can be changed by moving the Slider from left to right or right to left. The further left you move the Slider, more space will be reserved for non-recorded data. The further you move the Slider to the right, more space will be made available for recorded video data.
